Please help us reduce the number of unwanted horses by joining or making a donation to the Unwanted Horse Coalition

This is an ambitious undertaking. The UHC is funded by its member organizations and donations from caring individuals and groups. If you would like to help reduce the number of unwanted horses, please make a donation through the American Horse Council, a non-profit Section 501(c)(6) organization. Contributions to the American Horse Council are not deductible as charitable contributions, but may be deductible for federal income tax purposes as an ordinary and necessary business expense under Section 162 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The UHC is also accepting tax-deductible donations for our Operation Gelding Program. All donated funds will be used to directly assist stallions gelded through the UHC's Operation Gelding program. This grant program provides funds and materials to assist organizations, associations and events that wish to sponsor clinics to which horse owners can bring their stallions to be castrated. Funds of $50 per horse gelded with a $1,000 maximum will be awarded to groups once a year. All donations are tax-deductible and every dollar donated goes directly towards funding the castrations.
