Become a Member
Our members are the heart and soul of the Unwanted Horse Coalition, and they are the driving force behind the work we do. By becoming a member, industry-based organizations can participate in making decisions about the Coalition’s nationwide efforts to help reduce the number of unwanted horses.
Organizational membership in the UHC is available at several levels. If you are interested in becoming a member, contact the UHC Director for details, or apply online here: http://www.unwantedhorsecoalition.org/new-membership/

The UHC recognizes the need to provide resources and information for equine care facilities, rescues, and sanctuaries around the country. As such, we have created a “Nonprofit Membership” for these types of organizations that wish to be a part of the UHC, at a very minimal cost. Members should be organizations that are actively committed to advocating for “Owning Responsibly,” organizations that strive to provide collaborative partnerships with the horse industry. and be a registered 501(c)(3). A Non-profit membership form may be downloaded here: UHC NonProfit Membership Form and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
**A special THANK YOU to A Home for Every Horse for their support of this membership!
The UHC would like to thank its member organizations for their continued support and looks forward to working with your organization in the future!
The UHC does not have individual-level memberships at this time. If you are interested in supporting the mission of the UHC, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to the UHC through the American Horse Council Foundation, a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity.
